A dining table that also has to be a desk
In many Hyderabad apartments the dining table is also where people work, so cutlery, chargers and papers need somewhere to go at dinner time.
Savona adds a drawer beneath its top, so the table can be cleared of a working day in seconds and set for a meal.

A drawer
A drawer in the frame holds cutlery, place mats, or a laptop and its charger when the table is set for dinner.
A slim frame
The black frame is kept slim around the drawer, so the table still looks light rather than desk-like.
A practical top
White sintered stone is easy to wipe after work and after dinner, and does not mark from hot mugs or keyboards.

The making
The Savona frame is built in engineered wood with the drawer fitted on metal runners, lacquered black, and the stone top fitted and levelled above it.
The finished piece
It works in a work-from-home apartment where the dining table is also the office, from Monday to Saturday.
