A living room where a right-angled L would block the room
A right-angled L-shaped sofa can close a living room off, creating a corner that people have to walk round.
Sterling turns at a shallow angle instead, so the sofa opens towards the room and still seats a family of five.
Four decisions
A shallow angle
The sectional turns at a gentle angle rather than ninety degrees, so it opens towards the room.
Seats five
It seats five along its length, with the angle giving each end a view of the other.
Grey textured weave
A grey textured weave that hides everyday wear and suits almost any colour scheme.
Slim dark legs
Slim dark metal legs lift the long sofa and keep the floor visible beneath it.
Materials, named
As shown, a grey textured weave over the whole sectional, on slim dark powder-coated steel legs.
The making
The two runs are built in seasoned hardwood and joined at the angle so the seat and back meet cleanly, then sprung, padded and covered.
The finished piece
It suits an open-plan living room, where the angled sofa defines the seating area without walling it off.
The Sterling is made in our own factory and delivered across Hyderabad, from Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills to Kokapet, Narsingi and the Financial District.
