A reading chair that needs a place for books and magazines
Magazines and the book you are reading end up on the floor beside the chair, because a side table has nowhere to hold them.
Pustaka adds a pocket to the side of its taupe leather-look top, like a book satchel, on a slim black stem.
Four decisions
A side pocket
A pocket hangs from the side of the top, holding magazines, a book or a tablet.
Taupe faux leather
The Pustaka top is wrapped in taupe faux leather, soft to the touch and warm beside a chair.
An angular top
The angular top gives a flat edge to set against the chair arm.
A slim black stem
A slim black stem and round base keep the table light and steady on the floor.
Materials, named
As shown, an angular top and side pocket in taupe faux leather, on a black powder-coated steel stem and round base.
The making
The top and pocket are wrapped and stitched in faux leather over a stable core, and fixed to a stem welded to a weighted base.
The finished piece
Set it beside a reading chair or a recliner, with a lamp above and magazines in the pocket.
