A monochrome room that wants a nesting pair in two marbles
Black and white marble together is one of the oldest pairings in design, from temple floors to palace halls.
Sangama brings the two together like rivers meeting, a white top veined in grey and a black top veined in white, on black drums.
Four decisions
Two marble looks
One top is white veined in grey and one black veined in white, mirror images of each other.
Black drum pedestals
Each table stands on a black drum pedestal, solid and steady under the stone.
Rivers meeting
Light and dark meet in front of the sofa, like two rivers at a sangam.
Two heights
The smaller table nests beside the larger, the black and white overlapping.
Materials, named
As shown, round sintered-stone tops, one white with grey veining and one black with white veining, on black lacquered drum pedestals.
The making
The drums are built in engineered wood and lacquered black, and the two tops cut from contrasting slabs and fixed.
The finished piece
They suit a monochrome living room with a white or grey sofa and black-and-white art.
The Sangama is made in our own factory and delivered across Hyderabad, from Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills to Kokapet, Narsingi and the Financial District.
