Model 211 is an oval pedestal on a rounded plinth, with no corners anywhere, so nobody ever knocks into it in the dark.

An oval pedestal
The pedestal is oval in plan, slightly longer one way than the other, which gives it direction without corners.
A rounded plinth
The plinth is rounded at its edges, so it is kind to bare feet in a family kitchen.
Made for round tops
It suits round tops of 100 to 130 cm, seating four to six around a single central support.
Quiet by design
Plain walnut lets a richly veined stone top take all of the attention at the table.
Materials, named
Solid wood with a walnut finish; a display top is shown in the photograph, and yours is cut in the stone you choose.
The making
The pedestal is built up and turned to its oval, sanded through the grades and finished in walnut together with its plinth.
The finished piece
It makes a soft base for a breakfast table or a small round dining table in a family kitchen.
